What a grand old house!! Thank you for the wonderful home you have provided, with it's beautiful renovations and decor. It really is a grand old place.

Got home this morning from staying the weekend at this gorgeous home. I didn't want to leave. I almost cried. Not only is the home itself magnificent, but the amenities are first-class. This home (notice I don't call it a "house") has the best of all worlds - the Victorian architecture PLUS all the modern conveniences you could ask for - including free wifi! I loved sitting on the porches (I did manage to find time to hang out on each one), and take a nap, read a book, surf the web, and just enjoy the quiet. We'll be back.

It was an honor to have the privilege to stay in such a magnificent home. I would walk around and just admire the mill work and other details.

The house rates an easy 105 out of 100. Best place I've stayed, ever. Was there for five days and wished it could be 50. The close proximity to some of Texas' finest dining is alluring, but the house - the HOUSE! WOW. People who haven't stayed here have no idea. None.

Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed your home with our family. As one of your other guests said, the veranda was lovely this time of year. And the pictures really do not convey its elegance; the original fixtures, high ceilings, amazing furniture and woodwork are unique and beautiful.

Wow! We were staggered by your home. We arrived at night and thought we must have the wrong address until our key fit the lock!! We felt like we'd entered an English stately home and someone would come and tell us not to sit on the furniture at any moment! We had a great week and it was a wrench to leave. Does anyone know how much it would cost to ship a historic home back to England?

I hate leaving but look forward to coming back and knowing this place is here. Hope to visit again in the near future.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. We loved the architectural beauty, the wonderful furnishings...but most of all we enjoyed the pool and the verandahs and the family dinner time, with our three children, their spouses/significant other and our first grandchild. It just suited us so very well. We toured the great places that we could walk and bike to and the charm of this beautiful city on the Gulf! Thanks for thinking of all the items that made our stay so comfortable.
